I really enjoyed reading this book! It is full of history, geography & archeology of Arizona. As it is an old book (which I love) and the descriptions so wonderful, I had to look up the places he was describing to see what they look like now & even what they looked like then. I really enjoyed the descriptions of the Grand Canyon. I've been to Arizona many times, but this made me want to go again to see it through his eyes!Product details

The writer is able to bring us back to a time of territorial and the new state giving us a good picture of life in a rugged and primitive land.

As anew resident of Arizona, it was interesting to read the experiences of someone from a century ago. In many ways it has changed greatly.
Southern Arizona History. The Drew's mentioned in the book are those of my husband's grandfather and great uncle.
